Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about AI image extension technology, pricing, and best practices.
1Technology & Features
How does AI image extension work?
Our AI uses advanced image outpainting technology. It analyzes your image context, understands patterns and textures, then intelligently generates new content beyond the original boundaries. We continuously evaluate leading models and select the best performer.
What extension modes are available?
We offer four extension modes: Proportional Scale (uniform enlargement), Directional Offsets (specific edge expansion), Target Aspect Ratio (format conversion), and Rotate & Extend (rotation with scaling).
How accurate are the extensions?
Our AI creates highly realistic extensions that blend seamlessly with original content. Success rates are highest with clear backgrounds and well-defined patterns or textures.
2Usage & Limits
Can I use it for free?
Yes! Anonymous users can try the image extender once for free. After that, you'll need to sign in and use credits. Registered users pay 10 credits per request.
What file formats are supported?
We support JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIF, and WebP image formats. Maximum file size is 10MB per image. Image resolution must be between 512×512 and 4096×4096 pixels.
How long does processing take?
Most image extensions complete within 1-2 minutes. Processing time depends on image complexity, extension parameters, and current server load.
What are the parameter limits?
Scale factors: 0.1-3.0x, Rotation angles: -180° to 359°, Directional offsets: 0-2999 pixels (with sum limits), Aspect ratios: any N:N format like 16:9 or 4:3.
3Quality & Results
Will the image quality be preserved?
Yes, our AI maintains original image quality and resolution while generating natural extensions. The technology preserves lighting, shadows, and texture consistency.
What if the extension doesn't look natural?
Try different extension modes or adjust parameters. Proportional scaling often works best for general use, while directional offsets give more control for specific needs.
Can I extend images multiple times?
Yes, you can extend the same image multiple times with different parameters. Each extension is treated as a separate request and costs 10 credits.
4Technical Support
Why did my request fail?
Common causes include: unsupported file format, file too large (>10MB), resolution outside 512-4096px range, invalid parameters, or temporary server issues. Check your image specs and try again.
The extension has artifacts or distortions
Try enabling 'best quality' mode, use different extension parameters, or ensure your source image has clear, well-defined edges and backgrounds.
Can I get a refund if results aren't good?
Credits are consumed when processing starts. For best results, start with the free trial to test if the tool works well with your specific image type.
